Our Teachers

  • Aimee, Liberty Yoga’s founder, began teaching yoga in 2016 after completing her 200 hour teacher training at American Yoga in Deerfield Beach, Florida. In 2025, she completed an additional 300 hour training from World Peace Yoga School in Bali, Indonesia. Originally finding yoga as a means to heal from injury, she believes that yoga is for everyone. Aimee’s teaching is rooted in the eight-limbed path of yoga, yet she delivers it in a way that feels grounded and accessible in the modern world. Her goal is to meet you exactly where you are, and help you see your potential—even if you don’t see it yet yourself.

  • Fae Ehsan found yoga in 2009 and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Monarch Yoga in Philadelphia, PA. She believes yoga is a way to honor your body and mind, and that yoga can foster connectedness. In her class, you'll find a little humor, at least one Taylor Swift track, and the opportunity to build your yoga practice.

  • Sarah McCabe, a 200-hour Vinyasa RYT, is always striving to build trust with students. Her yoga journey began after graduating from college, when she started searching for new avenues of learning and connection. During her training, Sarah set her intention on creating a space where every student can feel confident on their mat. In her classes, she invites you to move with intention, curiosity, and compassion.

Outside of the studio, Sarah works full-time in marketing. As a lifelong learner and movement enthusiast, you can also find her taking various classes around the city!

  • My name is Amit, and I’m a traditionally trained yoga teacher originally from India. Yoga has been a part of my life long before my 800 hours of teacher training certification in Rishikesh—it’s deeply intertwined in the fabric of my rich culture.

My training in India focused not just on physical postures, but on the deeper roots of yoga: breath, mindfulness, philosophy, and cultural context. In a world where yoga is often seen as just another fitness class, my goal is to offer something more meaningful. I teach yoga the way it was meant to be taught—respectfully, mindfully, and rooted in tradition.

Whether you're new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, I invite you to explore this path with me. Let’s go beyond the poses and discover the wisdom yoga truly offers.

  • Meredith began teaching yoga in 2010, out of a desire to share the practice that helped her cope with the anxiety and stress of being a special needs parent. She completed her 200-hour teacher training and numerous advanced yoga trainings, and went on to become a Certified Yoga Tune Up® teacher in 2015. That training, along with a life-changing chronic injury, led to her passion for studying anatomy and functional movement. Not only did she heal from her injury, but this path led to a rewarding career as a rehabilitative movement specialist, massage therapist, and Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Her yoga classes today reflect that breadth of knowledge and experience, as well as her mission to help people live better—body, mind, and spirit!

In her free time, you can find Meredith swinging kettlebells, knitting blankets, and enjoying time with her partner and three adult children.

  • Sara has been teaching yoga since 2012, cultivating her unique stylings from her time guiding practices coast to coast. She offers guidance to all levels of practice, hoping to guide practitioners into spaces of strength, buoyancy, reflection and clarity with effort & ease. Every moment in class is different and unique, even if the postures may be familiar. Outside of practice, you can find her playing in her bands Lo Fives & Ex Locals.

“Early on, I started to sense the art of yoga is much more than a physical practice, and the overall quality of my life enhanced. I have a vivid memory of the first time I consciously found my breath during a particularly chaotic work day, and was able to center myself amongst the madness. From that moment on, I’ve felt like this practice is a practice that would last a lifetime. In 2021, I tried to quit teaching, and did for a year, but I now know that practicing and teaching yoga are embedded into my matrix, and sharing it with others truly allows me to stay grounded and gives me the able to navigate this wild world we live in. If I can help someone remember their own breath in a sticky situation, it is all worth it. It’s something I hope to do forever. I can’t wait to share some space & breath with you!”

  • Eliza (she/her), is a second generation Kripalu Yoga teacher who completed her 200 hour teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga in 2024. As an adolescent diagnosed with Scoliosis, yoga was a critical part of her care. As an adult, she has been exploring all of the ways that yoga creates not only a flexible body but also a flexible mind.

She brings her lived experience as a neurodivergent person and a member of the LGBTQ+ community to create space for people to practice together that is radically welcoming, accessible, and individualized.

  • Sam (she/her) is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher specializing in vinyasa and yin. She completed her training in 2023 at The Well Studio in Fishtown, and loves teaching yoga classes that are empowering and accessible for everyone. She believes the goal of yoga should not be to achieve perfection, but to connect with yourself, explore what feels good in your body and most importantly, have fun. Sam’s vinyasa flows are dynamic and exhilarating, while her yin classes are relaxing and grounding.
